ORDERING

 

How do I order?



ONLINE SHOPPING CART:

To use the online shopping cart you can search for products by clicking on one of the 'gifts for' or 'product categories' listed to the left of screen.  You can also filter products by age, gender, price, category or brand using our filter to the right of screen.  Products can be added to your shopping cart using the 'add to cart' button. Once products have been added to your cart you will be guided through the checkout process.

Please ensure that you include your name, contact phone number and required payment method. Payments can be made by Direct Deposit, Pay Pal, cheque or money order.

How do I pay for my order?



CREDIT CARDS & ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER (EFT):

EWAY – Eway will be available shortly

PAYPAL - PayPal allows for the secure transfer of funds between member accounts. It doesn't cost the user anything to join PayPal or to send money through the service. Use your existing Paypal account, or sign-up during check-out. Creating a PayPal account is easy and free. Once it is set up, you link your bank account, credit or debit card to your PayPal account. PayPal keeps your financial information totally secure, it is never disclosed any other party.

DIRECT BANK DEPOSIT – If you do not have a credit card or feel more comfortable using a direct bank deposit to pay for your order we also accept this payment method. Please contact us by telephone or email and we will provide you with our banking details.

DELIVERY

 

How much will delivery cost?


Speckled Frog Toys charges a flat rate of $9.95 for delivery Australia-wide on most items. On a small number of large and bulky articles, postage is calculated based on parcel size / weight. The postage costs for these large items is clearly displayed in the item product descriptions.

How will you send my order?


Speckled Frog toys uses Australia Post for all deliveries. If you are not home at the time of delivery, your parcel will be returned to your local Post Office for collection. A calling card will be left to notify you of the parcel's location.

When will my order arrive?


Speckled Frog Toys offers same day despatch for orders and payments received by 2pm (excluding weekends and public holidays).  If the order is received after 2pm, parcels will be despatched within 24 hours of receiving cleared payment, providing all ordered items are in stock. If for some reason there is a delay in the delivery due to stock availability we will notify you by email.

Australia Post provides the following recommendations for delivery times:
Western Victoria – next business day
Victoria – 1-3 business days
Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart – 3-5 business days
Perth, Darwin and regional centres – 5 to 7 business days

We do our very best to ensure that you receive your parcel promptly, however, once your item is despatched we do not accept any responsibility for postage delays. If you are at all concerned about receiving your parcel on time please send us an email before despatch to discuss your delivery options.

Can I pick up items in store?


If you would like to pick up your order from our retail shop please note this at checkout and we will hold the items for you for 7 days.  Our retail shop address is:

GIFT WRAPPING



Do you have a gift wrapping service?


Yes, Speckled Frog Toys offers a FREE gift wrapping service for most items. If you would like an item gift wrapped, please select FREE GIFT WRAP in the drop down menu under the product description. We ensure that all price information is removed from the product prior to wrapping. Please note that we do not offer giftwrap on some large, bulky items (if giftwrap is not offered, the giftwrap option will not be displayed in the product description).  Please click on the following link to see our current standard and Christmas giftwrap options.  If you would like items Christmas wrapped, please make a note in the additional comments section of the checkout, otherwise items will be wrapped with our standard giftwrap.

Can I send the invoice to a different address?


If you require the invoice to be sent to an address other than the delivery address, please make a note of this at checkout.


Can I include a gift card with a message?


If you would like to include a card with a personalised message, please select one of our cards or gift tags from the category menu, then include your message in the additional comments section of the checkout.

RETURNS, EXCHANGES & OUT OF STOCK ITEMS

 

Do you exchange items and accept returns?


We take great pride in our products and hope you are delighted with your purchase or gift from Speckled Frog Toys. If for some reason you are not 100% satisfied, we will do everything we can to resolve your issue.

If you change your mind about a purchase the item may be returned within 14 days of the date the order was placed for a full refund. Please note, you will be refunded the cost of the product, however the shipping charges are non-refundable. The shipping cost incurred to return the item is also at your expense. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the merchandise is not in its original, unused condition with all packaging and tags intact.

We thoroughly check each item before despatch and do our very best to ensure each product is wrapped and packaged securely. If however, you find an item has been damaged in transit, please contact us to discuss a replacement or refund.

If the item is defective or faulty, manufacturer warranties will apply.

Before returning any item please contact us to receive a returns authorisation number.


If an item is out of stock, how do I order?


If an item is listed as out of stock on our website and you would like to order it, please contact us by email and we can advise you of an expected delivery time.

We stock all of the items on our website in our retail store. Occasionally we may experience issues when items are purchased in store and online at the same time. If this occurs and we find an item is out of stock, you will be advised immediately by email of an expected delivery time. You can then choose to place the item on backorder, revise the order (make a new selection) or cancel the order.

We use industry standard SSL (secure socket layer) technology on our website to ensure that your information is safe. SSL encrypts credit card and personal information and provides a safe route of communication for online payments.

TECHNICAL HELP

 

How do I turn cookies on?


In order to use our website, your web browser must be set to accept cookies. Most web browsers come out-of-the-box with cookies turned on. If however they are not turned on, you will need to adjust the privacy settings on your browser to accept cookies. As each web browser is different, the best option is to select "Help" from your web browsers' menu, and search for "cookies", then follow the instructions to enable.


INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

 

Do you accept international orders?


Yes, we happily accept orders from international customers for delivery in Australia and overseas. You can use our currency conversion tool to see prices in several currencies using the drop down menu located on the sidebar. All international orders are sent via Australia Post Airmail. Postage rates are calculated by cubic weight and can be viewed at checkout.  Delivery times vary, but are approximately 7-10 business days. Any loss/damage will not be covered unless insurance is taken out on your parcel. Please select the insurance option at checkout if you would like insurance added to your order (cost AU $10).
